Terrible design as all have stated. The need to change out the lid when traveling puts stress on the hinge so I can see that's a replacement in the making. Next is the incomprehensible decision not to sell the seal as a spare part. The more it is switched out from one lid to the other the more the likelihood of damage. just a note everyone when you get a so-clean 2 you will need to change out the lid on water tub.SAVE the seal on the lid of the old one ...if you go on vacation you have to change back to old lid ..leaving so-clean at home ...You need that seal!! you cant get a seal replacement bill E, 11/22/2019

In addition to others that reviewed this water tub (chamber) I've got to say it is a terrible design. Not only do people have performance issues with it but it is the most difficult tub to clean that could have been imagined. My previous machine utilized the simple 36803 which was an almost square two part tub. I can't decide why this one has to be so complex. Poor design - poor performance - get rid of it! I have had this machine for 2 1/2 years. I have had 2 chambers break at the hinge, and i have had 7 chambers leak. i have had one that survived longer than 6 months. I had one leak at 3 weeks, and they generally start leaking at the welds on the bottom in less than 3 months. Nice machine, JUNK water chamber. Bob Kiesel, 01/30/2018

Started leaking after 3 days
