World's Smallest CPAP

Whether you’re traveling for business or fun – or even catching a nap on the couch – the AirMini™ makes it simple to bring your sleep therapy with you. Not only is it the world’s smallest CPAP, it’s also packed with proven ResMed technologies and features, like waterless humidification, designed to deliver a quality therapy experience anywhere you take it. In fact, more than 80% of users preferred AirMini over the two market-leading travel CPAPs in a recent study. And with the AirMini app, you receive your sleep score each morning and 30-day history, so you can continue tracking your sleep therapy anywhere.

Out-of-the-Box Settings

Settings on the AirMini can only be adjusted with the AirMini App. You can use the AirMini without the app but you will not be able to adjust the settings or review your CPAP use online. The AirMini comes set in Auto Mode with a pressure range of 4-20 cmH20. Smart Start is on. Ramp is on and set to auto. EPR is on only during ramp. Contact Easy Breathe to have your AirMini settings changed before it is shipped.

Waterless Humidification

The HumidX and HumidXPlus offer the best in waterless humidification. Other heat moisture exchanger (HME) technology is not effective. Other HMEs are usually placed after the mask vent. With other HMEs, you inhale dry inbound air; then when you exhale, the majority of heat and moisture from that breath, goes straight out the vent instead of back into the mask. With the AirMini and the set up pack adapter, the HumidX heat moisture exchanger is located before the vent. This allows the HumidX to ‘charge’ and discharge with heat and moisture during every breath, providing effective waterless humidification to you.

Up-to-Date Features

The AirMini™ comes with the same therapy modes as ResMed AirSense™ 10 bedside devices (CPAP, AutoSet™ and AutoSet™ for Her). The same popular features are included AutoRamp™, Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR) and SmartStart™.

Application for IOS and Android

The AirMini™ app provides convenient control of your machine. Download it to your smart device for access to a range of adjustable comfort settings and your nightly score that tells you how well you slept.

AirMini Travel Battery (Optional Add-On)

The Medistrom Pilot-24 Lite is the latest and greatest CPAP battery available and it’s made to connect directly with the AirMini! Not only is the battery the smallest CPAP battery available, it can be charged with the power supply for the AirMini, saving space from bulky chargers. It can power the AirMini for 1-2 nights depending on the pressure settings.

Note: The Airmini cannot be used with supplemental oxygen

I bought this and a battery to travel and camp with. When I learned my dreamstation1 was recalled I just went to this full time. The waterless humification is not as good as water humidification but decent. The power source takes 24 volts DC not 12 volts and you have to use the vendor's mask and hose. I did not like the P10 mask so went to the N20 mask. There is an after market adaptor so you can use other hoses and mask. Over all pretty decent. Stephen C., 10/18/2021

The ResMed AirMini is the perfect traveling CPAP machine. I use it on long-haul flights across the world and in hotels. For me, it is not loud. It works great and enables me to continue therapy while traveling without having to carry a larger piece of equipment. David R, 05/02/2023

I originally bought this for travel, but I ended up using it all the time. Great product, easy to install software and takes up very little space. Sean C, 09/10/2022

I love the ResMed AirMini!! It's so nice and compact. The HumidX waterless humidification is amazing! I do wish that I could turn the ramp off, I have a little bit of a hard time when I first lay down to sleep but once the ramp goes away, I go to sleep quickly. I don't use a ramp on my regular machine either. I'm so glad I was able to finally purchase this little jewel, no more traveling without the comfort of my CPAP. Jesse L., 12/23/2020

I purchased my AirMini & P10 Nasal pillow mask from my Doctor the end December 2018. I am so happy with this machine. Small, light weight, easy to travel with on my motorcycle for long trips. I don't find it noisy at all, and I think it is actually quieter than then one it replaced. I first used the Humid X disc but have switched to the Humid X Plus, and like it so much better. Nose stays moist throughout the night. Kevin Hemmer, 02/06/2019

I love this CPAP! It’s great not to have to mess around with a water chamber. I’d use it for my everyday machine, but I have to get the hours on my regular machine so insurance will continue to cover me. I do a lot of touring on a motorcycle, so space is important, and this takes up so much less room. The battery allows me to go overnight in a tent, and the car charger allows me to recharge it while riding during the day. It is a little louder than my “regular” CPAP, but I don’t think it’s overly noisy like some people here have been saying. My only complaint is that the CPAP mask/hose are NOT offered in replacements, which is a slight concern. Overall, I love this little baby and it was worth every dime I spent on it and the humidifier cartridges. Best thing I’ve bought in ages. J Trom, 12/01/2018

Bought this unit just days before a trip to Europe. My seat didn't have power, so I didn't use it on the plane so I cannot comment on it's use while flying. However, it worked brilliantly, and the size and complexity savings is huge when traveling with just a carry-on. In a month I stayed in 4 countries (UK, Germany, Netherlands, Norway) and in all kinds of hotel rooms and AirBNB's. Worked like a champ, just as good as my full size Airsense.

It would be great if they came out with a battery pack so it can be used anywhere, but I knew it didn't have one coming into the purchase.

Brilliant travel CPAP machine. Airflow though humidifier is a little more noisy that other bigger machines but is not a major issue.

Some reviews mention 'you can't adjust the air flow/pressure'. They CAN in fact all be set in the app exactly the same as the AirSense 10 Autoset machine can. Just need to get into clinical settings which is very easy to do from app.

I too have had the same issue as others in that the power supply easily falls out of the business class airline outlets. It was for flying that I purchased this unit, so this is a critical design failure.

The noice of the waterless humidifier is not an issue when flying and it is a good design but may be an issue for those trying to fall asleep in quiet areas.

It would be nice to have more granular “pro” settings for air pressure/ramp. However, general performance is good.

Were it not for the lousy power supply design (for air travelers), this would be a 4.5 star unit.

I recently bought the mini for travel to avoid lugging around my Air Sense 10. Overall, the packaging and functionality of the mini are nice. The product is well made and the interface to an Iphone is simple.

I had two deal killers with this unit though. As written in other reviews, I tried to use the mini on an international flight and the plug fell out of the electrical socket every twenty minutes. Without a battery, this negated it's use on an airplane.

The HumidX function does work fine but it's also a breathing amplifier. When I tried the mini at home - all I could hear was my breathing and I couldn't fall asleep, even with a background fan on for white noise.

Those issues rendered the mini useless for me which is a shame as I was really hoping it would have fit those niche uses.

I've been using a CPAP for over 4 years. Last year my job started requiring a large amount of travel and carrying around, essentially, a second computer bag was a huge pain in the butt. I finally decided to invest in a travel CPAP.

My doctor recommended the Air Mini so I gave it a shot. Overall, I'm quite happy with the performance.

Pros:
- Super easy to travel with. Everything fits in the bag that comes with and it stows away in my roll-on bag.
- Love the bluetooth connection to my phone and the app. Really nice to see the dashboard and how it is working
- The humidifier works well. So nice not to deal with filling/emptying the tank
- The unit is very quiet. The people complaining about noise are referring to the air going through the humidifier. It is a bit louder than a normal mask, nothing I couldn't quickly get used to. I'm sure a cheap set of foam earplugs will do you right if you're a really light sleeper.
- The drawer/Mattress anchor add-on works great. I've used both in different types of hotel rooms. They both fit in the aforementioned bag that comes with the unit.
- Super easy to set-up and use

Cons:
- You can't adjust the airflow, it has to self adjust. I generally need higher flow to be comfortable and it can take a little while to ramp-up.
- since my insurance won't cover replacement parts, it could get pricey having to buy the humidifier filter thingies.
- The airflow through the hose IS a bit louder than a normal, full-sized machine. As mentioned above, it isn't too loud but I figured it's a con, albeit a small one.

Yes, I would recommend this unit. I highly recommend purchasing the bedside anchor kit, You've already spent around $1000, at this point, the $50 is well worth it!

I took off one star because you can't adjust the air flow/pressure. You'd think that would be something they would put in the app.

I've been using a cpap with humidifier for about three years. Traveling on an airline with the bulky cpap was a problem and yearly trips to Europe packing a cpap was much too cumbersome. I tried a Transcend travvel cpap a year ago but couldn't use it more than a couple of hours because my nasal passages felt parched.
I've been using the AirMini for about a week with the P10 nasal mask. My biggest concern was if I could get enough humidity using the HumidX or HumidX Plus inserts. The first night I slept OK but my nasal passages were extremely dry so I thought the HumidX plus wouldnt work for me. Tried it a second night and the HumidX Plus was more than adequate. I guess you have to use a new HumidX cartridge for a night Before it gets primed so to speak. The last five nights have been perfect for me. I wear hearing aids so noise hasn't been an issue with thevAirMini or the mask. I put my hearing aids in while using the AirMini but still didn't notice a noise issue. Can't wait for my next vacation taking the small AirMini with me. No more waking up tired with a sore throats from snoring all night without a cpap !

Machine is very nice but extremely loud. I am a pretty sound sleeper but the noise level from the hose makes it extremely hard to fall and stay asleep. Company needs to figure a way to improve on your he noise coming from the hose and P10 mask area. If this can be improved this machine would be very good. Ollie, 11/11/2017

I love, love, love this cpap! It is easy to travel with and fits in my carry on bag easily. I sleep better and my apnea numbers have improved greatly in the last 5 months. I love not having a humidifier tank. The humidx filters work well for me. I haven't travelled overseas with it yet, or on a long flight so I cannot comment on the usability on an airplane. I am so happy I switched from my big, clunky cpap to the AirMini! Debbie Crawford, 10/01/2017

I've been using the Air Mini as a travel CPAP for intercontinental trips and weeks in hotels... My at home CPAP is a Resmed AirSense 10 autoset. I really like the portability of the unit. Love the device... butt there are some major issues with electrical plug decisions...

The huge wall wart plug is too heavy and vibrates out of airline business class plugs due to its weight. It's also almost impossible to use with international plug adapters... also pulling itself out of the outlets.

In two Pan-Pacific flights, the electrical draw from the unit tripped the breaker in the business class seating. Are they exceeding what the airlines allow?

Since the A.C. plug is almost useless AND theyve chosen a proprietary a.c. connection to the device, when will they release a battery or replacement ac adapter more like the airsense 10 power supply?

I want to use this expensive device... but resmed choices in powering it should have been figured out in testing.... right now I have to use a 2 foot extension cord to reduce the weight on the ac outlets. Remember that hotel and plane outlets are usually loose due to their insertion overuse.

90% awesome ruined by stupid engineering ignorance of primary use cases.

Thank you for your review. I will be contacting the manufacturer and sharing your issues with them so see if they have any solutions. I will be in touch with you via email.
