I have used CPAP therapy for over 20 years. I recently bought Resmed F30i. I previously used N30i. I used to get up every 2 hours during the night. This new mask allows me to sleep 7 or 8 hours with only 1 to 2 bed exits during the night. Charles K., 04/26/2022

I love this mask. The only problem I have is that the clips that hold the mask together break. This is the 3rd one I've had to buy. Cheryl T., 12/08/2021

I love it...have tried several styles. Always had trouble with leaks, this style more comfortable than most. I use a cpap gel to help the seal. Now its perfect Becky, 11/28/2021

This mask is very uncomfortable. The top tabs that hold head gear dig into my temple while I’m sleeping. I wake up with a headache. The mask blows raspberries waking me up all night Michele, 07/19/2021

It's a good mask when it stays in place, but unfortunately every time I turn over I need to re-adjust it, which takes me 15+ minutes of trial and error, turning the machine on to get some airflow and then making sure the seal holds. It lasts maybe 2 hours before needing adjustment again. No matter how loose or tight I make it, the nose part will eventually leak. I wake up hearing the "farting sounds" too. ha! (The sound of the mask leaking). Usually it'll happen around pressure level 10. My machine goes up to 15.

It's too bad, because I like the mask, if only I could get the leaks under control. I wish they had nasal pillows on top, instead of the leaky nose cushion. Peoples' experience with this will probably vary depending on nose shape. But I did use their sizing tool and supposedly this is the right size for me.

I compared the leak rate with this mask vs my P30i nasal pillow mask. My CPAP machine has nightly stats for "leak". It shows about 10 to 14L/min leak with this mask, vs 0L/min with the nasal pillow. The downside of the nasal pillow is that I need to wrap my mouth up in a bandage and chin strap to keep it shut. But when I do that, I sleep better than I have with the F20, F30i, or N20. I recommend checking out nasal pillows if you struggle with leaks. That is, if wrapping your mouth up is an option for you. I'll keep this mask around for times when I can't breathe out of my nose enough though. It's a fine option, especially as a side-sleeper. The air tube on top is something I really like about it. It's less confining and allows me to sleep more on my side-face than the F20 did.

I wouldn't recommend using a liner with any mask though. Not unless you keep an eye on your Leak stats on your CPAP machine. Liners may be more comfortable and quiet, but they can cause your CPAP therapy to be less effective because the machine will be unable to maintain adequate pressure due to air leaks.

My doctor helped me figure this out when I was using liners, but not before it became debilitatingly bad for me. I spent months with the cognitive and memory impairment of sleep deprivation, daily headaches, missing work multiple days per week, before we managed to get the leaks under control. After months of struggle, sleep finally became restful for me again, since I learned to ditch the liners, use a chin strap, mouth wrap/bandage, and nasal pillow mask.

Sleep is less restful using this mask (F30i), because I keep waking up to adjust it and fix leaks. But at least I can use my P30i nasal pillow mask on days when my nose is working well enough.

Bet thing I have found for CPAP comfort since starting CPAP use 8 year ago. You really need to try this. No more face pressure. You can turn over and over without getting wrapped in the tube. Couple it with the 10' narrow tubing and enjoy. If this sounds like an ad, sorry, but I have never been so enthused about a product. Jack, 06/14/2021
Terrible until using Remzzzs liners
The edges of the silicone never sealed properly, they'd flutter and make raspberry/farting noises and wake me up. I got some of the Remzzzs liners (the amara view ones, they didn't have F30i) and it solved the problem completely.
The headgear still needs to be fairly tight, but it's been good. I'm a side sleeper and there's never been an airflow problem since at least one side of the frame is always open.

My doctor recommended this mask as the full mask was leaving marks on the bridge of my nose that were irritating. I had a hard time adjusting to this mask as I often woke up gasping for air. I now alternate this with my full mask. My readings on this mask are always much higher than my full mask. I realized the other night when I woke up during the night that air passing through the tubing to the mask was being shut off because I was sleeping on my side with my head in the pillow. It's awful but like I said I now alternate between the two masks. Paul, 03/01/2021

I really like this mask. It is comfortable and easy to adjust. The only problem I have had and it is a big one is the clips on the mask that the straps attach to break. I have had 2 and they last about a month then break. Now have to start looking for an alternative mask. Bob, 12/09/2020

constant leaks at the nostrils and lasted less than six months. Never again. Joe, 10/21/2020

I love my mask. The first thing I did when I received it, was to get familiar with the parts and how they go together. Then I put it on, and off a few times...learning where to tighten and loosen the straps. I remember that I should never make the straps tight..just tight enough to not slip around. Then when I laid down in bed that night, and had everything on and comfortable...I got comfortable with my breathing and the new mask. The only problem I have is with the silicone...but I am getting a cover to place between silicone and skin. Becky Jo, 08/30/2020

This is the best mask I have ever used. Fits very snug without leaks when adjusted right. Able to read or watch tv easily. Spyder, 08/11/2020

Liked it but tabs broke that holds the mask. Happened twice John, 07/30/2020

This is the best mask that I have ever used. I toss and turn when I sleep and this mask has given me the most comfortable nights sleep in the 3 years that I have started using a CPAP. Doug, 07/05/2020

I agree with the review of F301. Couldn't get the mask to seal. Air moved from cheek and chin area. Terrible experience. Could hear my breathing that kept me awake. Bill, 03/19/2020

Seven masks and two machines, trying to resolve 57 AHI This is the first mask that handled the high pressure without any facial irritation and provided total comfort! James, 02/29/2020

Great mask but need to spend time adjusting it. I turn a lot and had the mask too tight. I had a hard time getting it right but well worth the time. Getting that hose over your head instead of on front of your nose is a lot of comfort. I strongly recommend this mask. Jim Eskridge, 02/22/2020
F30I
This is a horrible face mask. It will NOT seal! I have to pull it so tight trying to get it to seal that the magnets pull loose! The leaking is on the top of the mask usually near nose and cheek contact areas. I regret getting this mask. F30I, 02/10/2020
