Resmed headgear
I agree that the headgear Velcro ones not hold well. I wrapped a piece of adhesive tape around the straps. Here the Velcro has weakened. It works well, but bottom line, the Velcro should last longer. Resmed headgear, 12/14/2020

I've been using a CPAP for well over 10 years. The overall ResMed mask design is more efficient than other options. Stretching of this headgear too quickly IS a problem but can be compensated for by adjusting the small or standard sizes. However, the poor quality velcro issue is inexcusable. Tom, 09/09/2019

These things don,t last very long but I know of no other options. The velcro does not last and if you wash it , it just makes it worse. It really needs a wider band both top and bottom. Put a piece of cloth under the strap at your neck and that will make it last longer and be cleaner. Joe, 03/22/2019

I'm just glad my Resmed machine had a little more quality control than these masks. I have been burned twice as often as I have been satisfied over the years, no matter who I buy these from. One time a standard fits, next time it would fit a hippo! Who makes these things?? The labels mean NOTHING! Very, very frustrating, and many nights of lost sleep for NO reason! I've used this headgear for 12 years. The material stretches and needs to be tightened periodically. It seems to lose its elasticity after a couple of months. So I buy a 3 month supply. Brian, 02/27/2019

headgear is torture. Whoever designed has not worn it for exptended period. The fabric over time loses shape and becomes like a piece of wire digging into the head. And to say it is good for 6 months is again from a non-user. Larry, 03/27/2018

Sleep Apnea is serious, but the equipment quality is not there for what you pay. The headgear is to stretchy and the velcro does not hold. James, 09/11/2016

Sleep apnea left un treated is a serious disease. You may loose your marriage due to snoring. Eventually your body will get so tired you can go into narcolepsy. If you have it and don't wear a mask you will die an early death. I felt like a new person after taking it seriously. Don't kill some one else because you fell asleep at the wheel! Be of Good Healt!
